What do you play? The didgeridoo?
I thought it was quite unlikely here
to meet a musician who lives so near.

But no! You say it is not like that at all,
even though this city is quite small,
you‘ll meet a guitarist everytime you turn around,
there‘s too many musicians in this part of town.

But hey! You say maybe the two of us should jam,
and if it works out well we could start a band,
and we‘ll tour the whole country and the whole world, too
- me with my guitar and you with your didgeridoo.

And Yeah! You say that is how it is in this town,
everywhere a noise and everywhere a sound,
you‘ll meet guitarist everytime you turn around,
there‘s too many musicians in this part of town.

So you say you had a jam with four drummers the other day,
not one of them was good but they all wanted to play
in your band, and you‘re looking for a violinist, too,
the last one got out, he didn‘t like didgeridoo.
